FAQ
A: F1 boring bar matches F1 adjustable boring head. Fit brazed or indexable inserts for hole enlarging and rough boring. Standard sizes: 12mm,18mm,25mm, for F1-50(2"), F1-75(3"), F1-100(4") boring head.
A: Bar diameter must fit boring head bore, cannot mix:
F1-50 (2") →12mm boring bar
F1-75 (3") →18mm boring bar
F1-100 (4") →25mm boring bar
A: HSS brazed bar, carbide anti-vibration bar, indexable insert bar. Short bar for high rigidity; long bar for deep hole, prone to chatter.
A: Boring bar not locked, unlocked dial on boring head, chips or damage on bar, worn insert. Clean bore, tighten screws and check bar for bending.
A: Insert bar into F1 head, tighten side set screw, adjust boring head dial. Do not over-tighten to avoid bar deformation.
A: For milling machine & machining center F1 rough boring head. Rough & semi-finish boring for cast iron and steel.
A: Yes, you can buy separate boring bars and inserts for matching F1 boring head.
