BT30/40/50 Morse taper （with tang）

The BT Mohs variable diameter sleeve is a tool holder for converting the BT spindle (7:24 taper) of the machining center to Mohs MT taper holes. The outer cone is standard BT30/BT40/BT50, and the inner cone is Mohs 1-5 taper holes. It is used to clamp old-fashioned Mohs taper drill bits, reamers, and taper milling cutters without replacing the entire set of tools and is compatible with new and old tool inventory.

MTA type (flat tail type, most commonly used)

Slotted flat tail on the side of the tapered hole, transmitting torque through the machine tool spindle end face key

Adaptation: Morse drill with flat tail, taper shank Fried Dough Twists drill, reamer, reamer

Material and Precision Standards

1. Substrate: 40Cr/42CrMo alloy structural steel, overall quenched HRC48~55, wear-resistant and deformation resistant

2. Conical accuracy: precision inner and outer cone grinding, taper grade AT3, end face runout ≤ 0.005mm

3. Surface treatment: Fine grinding and polishing of the conical surface, blackening and rust prevention of the body, and a contact surface adhesion degree of ≥ 85%

4. Central through-hole: equipped with internal cooling holes, supporting machine center water cooling and chip removal

Precautions for use

1. Clean the oil stains and iron filings on the inner and outer cones before clamping to avoid excessive jumping and tool slippage

2. MTA flat tail aligns with the spindle end face key to prevent cutting torque slippage

3. Violent knocking and disassembly are prohibited to avoid damage to the accuracy caused by cone collision
