SLC collet SLC-12/SLC-20

The SLC clamp is an exclusive matching sleeve for SLC eccentric side fixed tool holders, which is different from ordinary SL straight side fixed clamp. The core has an eccentric compensation structure and is used with SLC-12 and SLC-20 tool holders to clamp straight handle end mills and drill bits, solving the problems of slip and vibration in rough machining.

Core structure and eccentricity principle (unique advantages of SLC)

3.1.Eccentric compensation hole

The center of the inner hole of the cylinder clamp is offset by half a tolerance relative to the center of the outer circle of the tool holder, offsetting the manufacturing tolerance of the milling cutter handle diameter. After locking, it automatically aligns to prevent the deviation and slippage caused by unilateral compression of the ordinary side fixed tool holder.

2.Anti bending oblique locking surface

The inclined positioning of the side wall of the cylinder clamp disperses lateral stress when the locking screw is pressed down, without squeezing deformation, and maintains stable coaxiality for long-term use.

Overall heat treatment

Spring steel material, HRC48 ± 2 quenching, precision grinding of all outer circles and inner holes, clamping repeatability accuracy ≤ 0.005mm.
