Punch former(one-way)

PUNCH FORMER is applicable on surface grinder or universal grinder for grinding round, 

radius and multi-angle points of punches and for precisely EDM electrode. 

Center hole allows long punch use. With its radius arc profiles.

Functions of ER Punch Former

1. Clamp punches, ejector pins, micro shafts via ER collet with ultra-high concentricity.

2. Cylindrical grinding for punch outer diameter to achieve micron-level tolerance.

3. Angular indexing for grinding taper faces, chamfers and angle pins.

4. Rotate workpiece to grind R-radius and spherical punch heads.
   

5. Eccentric adjustment for special eccentric punch machining.

6. Multi-step stepped punch grinding in one single clamping setup.

7. Resharpen tiny cutting tools such as micro drills and end mills.Features of ER type: Wide clamping range, uniform clamping force without workpiece damage, fast workpiece change, excellent repeat positioning accuracy.
