SK collet is an 8° taper high‑speed precision collet. Used together with SK high‑speed tool holders, it is widely applied in CNC machining centers and high‑speed engraving machines for finish machining, to hold round‑shank cutting tools such as end mills, drills, reamers and taps.

It is used for the cutting tools like dills,taps mills and reamers only for cutting tools that the shank diameter same as collet's hole diameter,can not be clamped with contraction.Clamping ability better than AA type.
Advantages
The 8° taper delivers higher gripping force than standard ER collets, low run‑out and excellent stability at high rotational speeds. Ideal for high‑speed machining.
Slim collet body reduces interference, suitable for deep‑cavity and narrow‑area machining.
Good dynamic balancing performance. Suited for high‑speed finish machining of aluminum, copper and mold steel to achieve fine surface finish.
Internal‑cooling version available. Works with coolant screws for tool through‑cooling.
