Carbide Half-Notched Center

Carbide Centers (also known as tungsten steel centers or alloy dead centers) are precision positioning support accessories specially used for the tailstocks of lathes, cylindrical grinders and CNC lathes. Their tips are inlaid with or integrally made of tungsten carbide. They support workpieces’ center holes via a standard 60° conical surface to withstand cutting forces and guarantee coaxial positioning accuracy, serving as core tooling for finish machining of shafts and sleeves.
